A woman in Hat Yai, Thailand had no choice but to place her drowned mother’s body in a fridge to prevent it from being swept away after floodwaters overwhelmed their home. The heartbreaking scene of the woman clinging to another fridge as waters nearly reached the roof was captured by rescue workers on Tuesday (Nov 25), before they brought both the woman and her mother’s body to dry ground. In a Facebook post, one rescuer wrote: “It breaks my heart that we arrived too late. She drowned.” #thaila
