Combine the dye with ice cubes; as the ice cubes melt, the color of the dye slowly dilutes from dark to light. At the same time, when different colors meet, they also blend. Ice dyeing is such a fun process, the results are always such a surprise! I can carefully plan a design but I don't have complete control over the way the colors land and split.
