A power hungry cop 🙄 - James Lujan, the former Sheriff of Rio Arriba County, New Mexico, was convicted in December 2021 on felony charges of harboring a felon and bribery or intimidation of a witness. The case stemmed from a 2017 incident where Lujan used his official position to help a friend, former Española City Councilor Philip Chacon, evade police following a high-speed chase.
