This is so cool, last night Thurston County Sheriffs Department once again captures a suspect fleeing from officers using their new grappler system. Washington State Patrol attempted to stop a vehicle for expired tabs when the driver fled and a pursuit was initiated. WSP requested TCSO assistance with a Grappler, and one of our Traffic Unit Deputies responded. As the car traveled down I5 it began to catch on fire.
