Not one size fits all here but here are the benefits to doing it this way: great soil and happy plants, less work, good for wildlife on and near your property, by providing a source of food for birds, less noise and very economical. We don’t use fertilizer or hire landscapers to do our cleanup so this is a very inexpensive solution at to do this. It’s also good exercise. And there is no noise.
