Customer stated several other companies kept resetting the breaker for the past six months but the unit would only run for a day or two and stop again. We reset the breaker but instead of leaving it there, before restoring power to the unit with the disconnect, we checked for short circuits or ground faults. And look what we found! One of the terminals on the compressor contactor read connection to ground. We traced it to the crankcase heater wiggling back and forth creating a short. Taking care
