People forget a simple fact: our economic system is built to keep around 4% of Australians unemployed to control wages and inflation. It’s not a moral failing, it’s a structural design. So when we mock people who are stuck in that gap, calling them “dole bludgers,” “lazy,” or worse, we’re attacking people for a situation the economy depends on. It’s completely wrong.
