All cadets participate in a community service project during their time here at the CHP Academy. This past weekend on September 20, 2025, CTC III-25 volunteered and participated in "Creek to Bay Day" around the Lake Merritt area in Oakland, California. They spent the day gardening, weeding, mulching, and planting new shrubs. They also did litter pickup, graffiti removal, painting, and water quality testing.
