Ubisoft yesterday announced it's gutting Ubisoft Halifax, the in-house studio behind Assassin's Creed Rebellion and Rainbow Six Mobile, just weeks after the subsidiary voted to unionize, prompting a worker's group to pursue legal action.

Ubisoft’s Halifax studio closure has sparked outrage as the announcement comes just days after workers formalized their decision to unionize.

Over two years after it was announced, Ubisoft is still working on The Division 3. And while it has yet to show off the game, its chief developer has said he thinks it will have as big an impact as The Division 1.
