Two young teens were found safe after police in Florida say they were abducted by a man they communicated with on Roblox and Snapchat.

A 15-year-old from Long Island left school, headed into New York City, and never came home. In the scramble to find him, a new claim about the gaming platform Roblox has collided with a family's raw fear and anger.

The gaming platform faces over 100 lawsuits, which were recently consolidated.

Some users have donned ICE gear and carried out “raids” on a popular roleplaying game within Roblox. Other young people on the platform have taken to the virtual streets with signs in their avatar’s hands in protest, expressing sentiments like “We hate ICE” (all signs are free of expletives, of course, which are banned on Roblox).

Roblox recently came under fire after it announced a major change to its avatar faces. Now, there’s a fear that the same will happen to their clothing.

On Tuesday, Roblox announced an update to its marketplace policy for in-game character heads, and the response from players has been nothing short of fury. Roblox avatar heads currently come in two forms: Classic Heads and Dynamic Heads.

Roblox has updated its policy on dynamic heads, stating that any static designs still remaining by June will be removed from inventories.
