Rumors have swirled for some time that Trader Joe’s was eyeing Decatur. Speculation has centered around a spot in downtown Decatur for the location.

This will be the first McDonald’s serving the South Shores area, and will be located just south of Lake Decatur on Route 51 and South Side Drive.
