Google is reportedly planning to replace its infrequently updated Weather app for Android with a newly redesigned Google Search experience.

Pixel Android phones and tablets works as an extension of the Google app, not a standalone program. Users must add the shortcut, marked by a sun icon with a "G" badge, to their home screen for access.
