Two-time defending champion Amber Glenn has set the record for a women’s short program at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships.
The roster, comprised of 16 skaters, includes some of the biggest stars in figure skating, including Ilia Malinin, Amber Glenn and Alysa Liu. Veteran ice dance pair Madison Chock and Evan Bates are in for their fourth Games together while Malinin and Glenn will make their Olympic debuts in Italy and Liu is headed for her second Games.
Two Texas-natives are officially competing in the Winter Olympics as members of the U.S. Figure Skating team. Following the 2026 Prevagen U.S. Figure Skating Championships in St. Louis, Missouri on Sunday, Amber Glenn and Emily Chan were announced as members of the team. It will be each of their first appearances in the Winter Olympic games.
