A big change is underway for how the state tracks people using the E-ZPass​ program in Massachusetts.

Massachusetts is rolling out a new kind of E-ZPass transponder this March, swapping out the old plastic cases with a smaller, cheaper sticker.

This comes after Massachusetts started transitioning to E-ZPass transponders on March 1.
