I'd like to tweak the hell out of my cable modem setup for performance. Maybe I haven't looked very hard, i duuno, but I can't find anything useful out there. Do any of you have any info on this?

Those with a cable modem at home raise your hands. That should be about half of you with a high speed connection to the Internet. Usually these modems will remain the black (or white or...) boxes ...
